Ready to Rumble

Travel Journal Entry #11

I have spent several days at The Hermitage. Each of us on the Serpentine Road performed on stage (a virtual stage) by presenting our poetry, songs, artwork, dances. At this virtual online "party", I met a number of interesting individuals: The Baba Yaga, the Amazon Queens L'Enchanteur (all alter-egos of our website's moderator). A fun time was had by all.

Now, it's the next day and we are waiting to depart on the Serpentine Road and continue our trek to the House of the Rainbow Serpent. I'm all packed, totally sobered up from our night of partying and performances, and I have donned my new traveling cloak with this image of the Rainbow Serpent embroidered on the back.

We have been asked to leave something behind at the Hermitage, in what is called the Surrender Box. I am leaving in my surrender box memories of toxic relationships and my negative attitudes.

I'm ready to rumble down the Serpentine Road....
